Combining old medieval and folk instruments with electronic beats and waves of swirling guitars, Dandelion Wine have spent much of the last decade touring the world and have played everywhere from Tokyo to Paris. After a long absence, they are returning with a new lineup, a new single and a new album, the first since 2010’s made-in-Berlin-album “All Becompassed By Stars”. In 2013, while playing a concert at Rakvere Castle in Estonia, Dandelion Wine invited New Zealand cellist Francesca Mountfort to join them on stage for three songs… they were so thrilled with the results that Francesca joined the band in time to record the new album “Le Cœur”. The full lineup is now:
Naomi Henderson: Gesang, Flöte, E.Schlgazeug, beats
Nicholas Albanis: Gitarre, Laute, Hackbrett, Appalachian Dulcimer, Bell Cittern
Francesca Mountfort: Cello, Gesang, Hackrett
