KosmoClub #3

Thu

electronic live performances

The third instalment of Give Us Your GOLD‘s KosmoClub series at Marie-Antoinette once again comes packed with three electronic live performances of the label’s trademark nonconformist music variety. This time around, RENUPsycho & Plastic and Silberfischer/ take to the stage with levels of musicianship that are unique in Berlin’s electronic scene. Their eclecticism radiates party, politics, art and club and is testament to all of them being firmly rooted in the booming 1990s. Their individual takes on dance music will keep the floor moving without the need for DJs.
As always, we start early! Doors open at 20:00h
Entry: 6€

Silberfischer/ (Modularfield / Bon Temps) – 21:00h
Berlin born artist Silberfischer aka Frau Silberfischer is a passionate collector of soundscapes within the busy urban environment of her hometown. Pitched and granulated, she incorporates those sounds into her music with a cinematic approach, also reflecting influences from industrial, hip-hop and techno. She is a member of the female:pressure network and Liquid Sky Artist Collective.

RENU (Holykuti / GiveUSYourGOLD) – 22:00h
RENU is a composer, producer, tabla-player, multi-percussionist and alumna of London’s Asian Underground movement. Since moving to Berlin, she has released one EP on GiveUsYourGOLD and the album They Dance In The Dark on her own Holykuti Records in 2017. The latter is full of hooky, dark electronic anthems with underlying post-colonial queer narratives. Be ready for a big sound coming from a weird queer femme, in a weird queer world.
